About Us

O’Hara’s of Foxford are based in County Mayo, where the company produces over 100 confectionery and 40 bread products to the highest quality standards.

Founded in 1951, the company is still owned and run by the O’Hara family, who pride themselves on the motto: ‘Care in the Making, Care in the Baking.’

The company has certification under ISO 9002, the Q Mark and the Hygiene Mark. It also operates the HACCP (Hazard Analysis at Critical Control Points) programme, and uses WCM (World Class Manufacturing) systems at its 55,000 sq ft plant.
The company, which employs a staff of over 180, is the holder of several national quality awards. In 2005, it was named overall winner of the National Hygiene and Food Safety Award at the prestigious EIQA (Excellence Ireland Quality Association) Quality and Excellence Awards.
